I received a digital copy of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in order to write this The Devil Wears Prada 2 Parents Guide. All opinions are my own.

The Devil Wears Prada is one of my favorite movies from the early 2000’s. So you can imagine my excitement (hopefully you shared that with me) when I heard they were making a Devil Wears Prada 2 with the original cast. I feel like I am always skeptical, because you’re never sure if they will have a good story, or if the director will do well in keeping the original momentum. I went to the theater with my daughter to watch it, and we both loved it.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is exactly what you want. It is packed with all of the same character energy, a great storyline that flows and doesn’t stall out, and an amazing twist and turn of events that keep you guessing and interested. I very much enjoyed the movie, and have watched it a couple times since the digital release came out. You can buy it on  Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. It will soon be released on Disney+ (I am guessing in August).

There are a couple of references to suicide, and a comment about “body positivity” that is meant to shame. Both are meant to be funny, but could be offensive to sensitive viewers.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is a fantastic film that the whole family can enjoy together. If you haven’t watched the first one lately, be sure to watch it first because there are a lot of references made to that one in the second movie.
