I am loving all things Farmhouse these days as you can tell from what I have been posting (like this Farmhouse Easter Garland and the Farmhouse Easter Banner), and today I am sharing a fabulous Farmhouse Easter Bunny Sign.
I got the large wood bunny cutout from Oriental Trading. Then I used chalk paint, twine, and Rub-on words or stickers. Overall this project will take you about 30-45 minutes (because of paint drying time).

Put down some paper or whatever to protect your table from the paint. Do a coat of paint (I got some of the edges, but didn’t make a big deal of it). Once the paint was dry, I took a sanding block and sanded the whole thing. I really got some of the edges, but my block wasn’t “gritty” enough to distress it very well.
Once I was done sanding I took a very lightly damp paper towel and wiped it down so the paint dust was gone.
With all of the paint dry, you will take the twine and wrap it several times around the neck then tie it. I also found the cute wire/ball decor thing at a thrift store so I cut a piece of that off and use it. I love the effect. Then I used some of the Easter stickers and added them.
This goes perfect with the Farmhouse Easter Garland I made earlier. Crafting/DIY stuff makes me happy and while we are “quarantined” because of COVID-19 I have been doing a lot more of it. I thought this would be fun for you to make as well since you can order everything you need online.
Pin the image below so you can find this to make it later if you don’t have the stuff now.
