Stress can be a hard thing to deal with, giving you tendencies to turn food or snacks into comfort. This week I have been focusing on finding my motivation. If I tell myself all of the reasons that I want to loose weight, then it makes it easier for me to say no to that candy bar – or to eat a healthy lunch instead of the burger and fries. It is about making small choices, that all come together that have a big impact. I have sat down and made a list of 10 BIG reasons why I want to lose weight (which I will share next week), and whenever I am tempted I think about them. It gives me my motivation, and it is a good driving force behind my weight loss. Now I am getting motivated – what do I do everyday? I use Noom Coach to help me with simple daily challenges like getting up from my desk every hour and doing 5 minutes of simple exercise (it even gives you ideas, tips, and tricks). It challenges me to choose a green food over a yellow or red food for my snack, and it gives me customized tips and information about things like Metabolism, Carbs, and why it is important to know how long you eat for.

I am back down to about 234 this week – and I love seeing the numbers on the scale go down. I love knowing that by making healthy eating choices, exercising, and being motivated I am going to accomplish my goal. I record everything I eat through my Noom Coach app, all of my workouts (even house cleaning, and yard work count!), and I “weigh in” every day as well as complete my challenges. There is also an amazing support system in my Noom Group where I can relate to and communicate with others who are going through the same challenges I am.

There is a free version and there is a PRO version. You can get a FREE 30-Day trial of the Noom Coach app Pro and join me on this 30 day challenge. I would love to hear your stories, questions and thoughts.
