This post, protein snacks for kids. is brought to you by Happy Little Plants Protein Puffs. All opinions are my own.
With all of the craziness going on right now, I have opted to do distance learning with my two youngest. I have found that it works better with my schedule, and my kids and I are having a lot of fun together. While they do have school provided curriculum, I like to supplement with some other things to make sure they are staying on top of everything so we spend a few hours a day doing extra school work.
During that time, as I am sure you can imagine, they get “snacky”, often. This used to be a big distraction but we have recently tried the Happy Little Plant Protein Puffs and it has helped a ton! Not only do my kids get a healthier snack, but it helps keep them fuller, longer so we don’t have as many distractions.
It can be hard finding healthy snacks for them that taste good and fill them up between meals. I just put them out and they snack on them throughout the day. It works really great. And they taste good too.
Protein snacks for kids
They come in three flavors – Ranch, Cinnamon & Sugar, and Nacho Cheese. We tried them all. My kids liked the Cinnamon and Sugar ones the best. I like that they are a small enough size that kids of all ages can eat them. And I like the amount that comes in each bag. I have even been sending these to school with my 16-year-old to have as a snack during her long school days. They are packed with 16 g of protein per serving and are gluten-free with no preservatives.
You can get a variety pack of the Little Plants Protein Puffs (or individual flavors) on Amazon – where you get 4 of each flavor. This item is also eligible for subscribe and save so you can set up automatic shipments and not have to worry about running out.
