It’s that time of year again – when everything scary, horror, and nightmare comes to life. There are a lot of fun Halloween Activities in Utah 2024 and Fall Activities in Utah that you will want to check out. But one of our favorites, hands down, is Nightmare on 13th! They made several changes this year and as someone who has been several times – I felt like it was a whole new experience. So your first stop for one of the best haunted house experiences is Nightmare on 13th in Utah!

The courtyard has been updated and features several new photo ops. There are also new characters to add excitement, fun, and a little scare to your pre and post-visit inside the Nightmare on 13th attraction. So be sure to plan on spending at least 15-30 minutes in the courtyard to really take it all in and experience everything. Plus you will want to take pictures and videos of everything – because it’s just that amazing.

The main Nightmare on 13th attraction is SO FREAKING GOOD! There have been some updates and changes that have made it even better (and I didn’t think that was possible), so if you have been there before, don’t expect it to be the same. They have made some big changes to some things and little changes to other things, but the overall combination is so effective and creates the perfect Haunted House environment. They have upped the jump scares and realistic horror, so you will have your heart pounding before you even get into it. Enjoy every feature, decoration, and environment. I loved every minute of it!

Once you make it out of the main attraction, and you feel like you could take a little more, go to the Institute of Terror. This is the best year we have gone through. The environment is great and super creepy and has a lot of jump scares. The is an insane asylum and has a lot of unexpected twists and turns. I would highly recommend doing both of these in groups. Let’s face it, it’s way more fun to scream your guts out when you have a friend to do it with.

One more fun fact, Nightmare on 13th was just rated #2 on the list of “Scare The Crap Out of You” haunted attractions in the USA!
