Those of you who have been here before know that I love Peanut butter and chocolate. If this is your first time here, well, look around. You will love the recipes that we have shared.I have never make a “bark” before, but seen many different recipes for it and it looked easy enough so I wanted to try it out. I am know in love with it and will have to be very careful about how often I make it or I am going to have to get bigger pants. 😉 The recipe is really simple and it only took about 10 minutes start to finish. It made almost a full cookie sheet full, so it is great to share or for treat plates, parties, and all of that fun stuff.
I break it into smaller pieces so that my kids can eat it without getting gooey because the chocolate will melt if you hold it to long and well my kids don’t need any help getting messy. lol. On the flip side, I noticed that I could break them into pieces and put them out on a plate and the pieces didn’t melt just sitting there. While they became a ltitle soft (because they are supposed to be refrigerated) they still tasted very good.
Here is the recipe and printable version so you can try it out and impress everyone with you awesome baking skills 😉
Of course I call this Halloween Bark because of the colors I choose, but honestly you can use it any time of year for a yummy peanut butter chocolate fix.
