Texas Pete Hot SauceBuffalo Chicken Recipe (with Texas Pete Hot Sauce) I love creating in my kitchen. From old recipes that I have made over and over to new recipes that we make up as we go along. My husband has been craving Buffalo Chicken, so I decided to make it for him using      Texas Pete Hot Sauce as a main ingredient. It turned out SO GOOD! It only took about 20 minutes from start to finish and most of that was just cooking the chicken. If you have pre-cooked chicken you could have a tasty meal in less than 5 minutes! This Buffalo Chicken Recipe is very easy. Buffalo Chicken Recipe (with Texas Pete Hot Sauce) You will start by cooking the chicken if you don't have it cooked already. I just used two frozen skinless, boneless breasts that we thawed in the microwave while we started the water boiling. Once it comes to a boil you will add the chicken one piece at a time so it doesn't stick together. We also added about 1/2 tbsp of oil to help prevent sticking as well. Let the chicken cook for about 10 minutes or until the internal temp is at least 165 degrees. Buffalo Chicken Recipe (with Texas Pete Hot Sauce) Once the chicken is cooked, you will want to put it into a bowl, and using two forks you will shred the chicken into large chunks. You can shred it small if you want – whatever size you prefer. Once the chicken is shredded you will take a packed of Ranch Dressing Seasoning and sprinkle it over the top and use tongs to mix the chicken and ranch together. I used also the whole packed – (about 2/3 of it) so plan on 1 packet for every three chicken breasts. Buffalo Chicken Recipe (with Texas Pete Hot Sauce) After the ranch dressing is mixed well with the chicken, you will take and add 1/2 tsp. at a time of the Texas Pete Hot Sauce to the chicken and stir it in. This allows it to spread evenly over all of the pieces. Buffalo Chicken Recipe (with Texas Pete Hot Sauce) 2 tsp. was enough for me but my hubby has a stronger taste then I do, so we added 3 tsp. of the Texas Pete Hot sauce and mixed it together well. Buffalo Chicken Recipe (with Texas Pete Hot Sauce) We used it to make sandwiches, but you can use it for anything from casserole to tacos. My hubby added another fair dose to his sandwich while he was eating. We both agreed that it had a great spicy taste that wasn't over the top and it will be an ingredient that we will use often from now on. There are so many possibilities for it in making your favorite foods. Add to your Red Velvet Cake icing, add a little spice to your hot dog or fries. Top your pizza with a little Texas Pete for a whole new level of goodness. There really is no limit to what you can add Texas Pete Hot Sauces too. They have a great variety like Wings sauces, Hotter hot sauce, garlic hot sauce, and CHA! which is a sriracha sauce. Buffalo Chicken Recipe (with Texas Pete Hot Sauce) You can find Texas Pete Hot Sauce in most stores. Ours was by the Steak sauces. I would love to know what yummy and creativeTexas Pete Hot Sauce recipes you have. Share them on your social media channels and use the hashtag #TexasPete. I’d like to try the Texas Pete. I’d put it on popcorn too (that’s weird, isn’t it? but it’s oh so true). 🙂

My husband would love this (me too!) I love spicy food and chicken is my favorite! Looks delicious! I had to hide the pic from my hubby when he walked by. I don’t feel like cooking tonight! 🙂
