I love getting out and enjoy the community and what our beautiful state has to offer. My kids are always looking forward to the fun things we plan. This fall is even more exciting now that things are opening back up and we can go out and enjoy them again. Here is a big list of fall activities in Utah that you can do with your family and/or friends!

This list includes everything from free events to paid, for kids, teens, and adults. There is a list of haunted houses in Utah and Corn Mazes in Utah at the bottom. Fall Activities in Utah are fun because you can get out and experience things in our beautiful scenery! Take a Hayride through a haunted forest. Go on a haunted river cruise. Get dressed up and go to the Witchfest! Get lost in one or all of the corn mazes! There is just so much to do!

We’re celebrating 21 years of WitchFest, and those wacky cacklies are back for another year of WitchFest fun before you know it. If you’re thinking of flying that broomstick into Gardner Village to be a part of the brouhaha, here’s a list of what you can expect for WitchFest 2021. Ogden’s George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park is excited to host a family flashlight dinosaur hunt to safely celebrate Halloween! It is a must-see stop for families in Ogden during the month of October, and the only time of the year you can visit the Dinosaur Park in the dark—including periodic blackouts, so keep that flashlight handy! Family-friendly Halloween décor transforms the Park’s prehistoric woods and hills into a half-mile of eerie lights, creepy noises, and spooky adventure with a new area to explore!
DINOS IN THE DARK is open October 11, 14, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, and 29, with two ticket entry times, between 6:30-7:30 and 7:30-8:30.

Join us this fall in the Ashton Gardens for our popular Scarecrow Festival. Enjoy the beautiful autumn colors in the expansive 50-acre gardens and dozens of imaginative scarecrows built and submitted by the community. You and your kids will enjoy our annual Pumpkin Train! Your ticket includes a short 40-minute train ride where you will be entertained on board by costumed characters. Fall Harvest Festival (Logan, Utah)


FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL 2021 – AMERICAN WEST HERITAGE CENTER
OCTOBER 15-16 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Fall Festival, Corn Maze, Hay Activities, and discounts on the Haunted Hollow! (Haunted Hollow is $3 with purchase of Fall Harvest Festival tickets). Cider Pressing • Corn Shelling • Candle Making • Steam Engine Threshing • and More!
- Children 12 and under (weighing less than 100 pounds) can enjoy a pony ride during the festival Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Kids can enjoy a ride on our ¼ scale train Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Participate in bringing in the harvest. Help our staff at the cider press and see how cider is made on the farm.
- Before the combustion engine, steam was the power that brought commerce to the American West. Enjoy our demonstration!
- The tasks of building the American West didn’t always coincide with the sun. See how pioneers shed a little light on their homestead.
- An important staple on any farm is corn. This fed people, animals, and was one of the cornerstones of the expansion of the American West.
The Corn Maze and Haunted Hollow run from September 24-October 30, 2021. The Barnyard Boo is on October 14, 2021.

Fall Festival (Saratoga Springs, Utah)

FALL FESTIVAL 2021 – SARATOGA SPRINGS UTAH
OCTOBER 1 | 5 PM – 8 PM
Come Celebrate the change of the season and all the fun Fall has to offer. We’ll have inflatables, a petting zoo, train rides, trick-or-treating, our Community Fair, and more!
- Inflatable Alley & Llama Experience: Wristbands are $3.99
- The Wristband gives children access to Inflatable Alley and the Llama Experience. Each child will need a wristband to enter. Inflatable Alley is for children 3-12 years old. No adults or teens will be allowed in Inflatable Alley. The Llama Experience and Petting Zoo is for all ages. No wristband is required for anyone 13 and older accompanying a child 12 and under into the Llama Experience or Petting Zoo that has a wristband.
- Train Rides: (free-$1)
- Train Rides are free but a $1 donation/rider is suggested. The donations help pay for fuel for the trains and to maintain the trains and tracks.
- Trick-or-Treating: (free)
- There will be stations throughout the park where the children can do some trick-or-treating. There will also be fun photo stations throughout the park.
- Community Fair:
- Our Community Fair consists of local businesses setting up a vendor booth to advertise their product/service. No sales are allowed. Each vendor will have a game with a treat or small toy for the children.

Ghost of Camp Floyd (Fairfield, Utah)

Is Camp Floyd haunted? The public is invited to participate in a paranormal investigation of Camp Floyd. Because of the popularity of this program, four sessions will be conducted this year with each date limited to 40 participants. Admission fees are $10 per person and reservations are required.
On the 29th there is a Witches Campfire program, and on the 30th there is a Cemetary Tour
