My two oldest daughters’ new favorite cartoon is (understandably) the Disney FROZEN movie (if you haven’t seen it yet – watch it here). They love everything from the characters to the songs and with that being said, it was no surprise when my 6-year-old asked for a FROZEN birthday party this year! I was actually excited because it is something new and fun and will give me an excuse to do some crafting. We started with the FROZEN birthday invitation, and this is what we came up with.

Disney FROZEN Birthday Invitation {with free printables}

My 6-year-old has a birthday coming up (in like two months, lol) but she wants a FROZEN birthday party, so I decided to get started early on the preparations because I want to make some really cool stuff. One thing we wanted was a fun and unique FROZEN birthday invitation. So we used some of the free Disney FROZEN printable’s and had a little fun in photoshop and came up with this really cute FROZEN birthday invitation that we will make to hand out. I am glad I am starting now honestly, because each invitation only takes about 20 minutes to make, but that adds up. They are cute and fun and I want my daughter to have a special day.
To make the card, we printed out our card template (get it for free here). Then I took a piece of purple card stock and folded it in half, then cut the parts out (as you can see pictured) and just used a glue stick to stick them on the card. Then i used a Crop-A-Dile (but you can use a hole punch) to make the smaller holes that I put the ribbon in. I used a small piece of Turquoise Tulle (you can get it at Michael’s for about $4 a roll, I think) and a couple of Glue Dots to attach her cape. There are a couple of snowflake brads on the front and then I tied a white bead to the end of each ribbon on the inside.

Olaf was the hardest part about this because you have to cut him out – so not hard – just the most time-consuming – although at one point he almost ended up bald, lol. The back of the card has a coloring page that they are supposed to color and bring to the party, so I used a mini safety pin to attach it and at the same time attached a small snowflake to the inside of the card by Olaf. Under him I left a space where you can write in the name of the Child whose birthday it will be.

Print this out on two sheets of paper- I just used normal paper and then glued them onto a piece of card stock with a glue stick.
These FROZEN birthday invitations are so cute and I am really excited to start on the next part of her party which will be the decorations! I will keep you updated and share what I do. If you have any fun ideas I would love to hear them.
