Ways To Let Your Cat Know It Is Loved

Our cat, Mr. Fuzz, is so spoiled. He has been part of our family for over 12 years and definitely acts like he is king of the castle. His brother Jake (our 2 year old yellow lab) even lets Mr. Fuzz boss him around. We love our kitty and treat him like a king so it’s no wonder that he has his attitude. Some of his favorite things are cat treats, feathers, cat nip and snuggles. We like to pamper him as well giving him great meals with the Fancy Feast canned cat food and making sure his litter box is always clean by using a Litter Genie to make it easier on everyone.

Litter Genie System for Cats

We just got a Litter Genie for the first time and we have been loving how easy it is to use and how well it keeps the stinky smell trapped. Our cat was unsure of what to think while we set it up and put it to use, but he quickly came to realize what it was for and enjoyed playing with his new bird toy while he hung out with us. Keeping his little box clean keeps him happy, and it helps our house to smell 100 times better. The Litter Genie has been a great asset. No more double and triple layering grocery bags and then fighting to clean the litter box every week because no one else wants to do it. Once a days I just go in and clean up his messes and trap them in the Litter Genie. Mr. Fuzz is happier and so am I!

Using the Litter Genie is very easy. Set up took about 4 minutes and it was ready to use. Once you have the bag setup, you just open the lid and start scooping (it even comes with a nice new scoop). Once you have all of the messes cleaned out, close the lid, then pull out on the handle to drop the clumps into the bottom. Push the handle back in to seal in waste and odors. I love the compact design and how easy it is to store in our smaller space. It even has a handle for carrying. Because it has a unique air-tight design, you can seal away waste for up to 14 days for one cat. It keeps the smells in, even when you open the lid because there are two chambers.

Another things that we love to give our cat is Fancy Feast cat food. These gourmet meals are culinary perfection and our cat is in heaven every time he gets one of these little cans of food. The amount is perfect, and he loves the juices as much as the meat. I trust Fancy Feast because for for over 25 years, they have been committed to balanced nutrition for cats, and they are made with high-quality protein and sources and ingredients.

I can barely get the food out of the can before he pushes me out the way to start licking and eating the Fancy Feast food. It is an easy way for us to show him that we care and I have peace of mind knowing that he is getting quality ingredients. Right now you can get a great deal on Fancy Feast and Litter Genie at Target. They have a Mix & Match offer where you can buy two qualifying items and get a free cat toy or treat! Here are the details:

In Store Mix & Match Offer:
Buy any TWO (2) Fancy Feast® – 24 pack OR Litter Genie® Pail/Refill and get a free Cat Toy or Friskies party mix cat treat.
Offer available 2/15/15 – 4/11/15. While supplies last.

We have loved our Litter Genie and our cat loves the Fancy Feast. It is a win-win!

My kitty is going to be very happy when I get home. And yes, the toy makes noises. #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

There are many ways you can show your cat that it is loved. Make sure you give them attention, buy them fun toys, feed them quality food, keep their litter box clean, play with them, give them treats, and many other things. Pets are like part of the family. We treat them like it.

What tips do you have for showing your cat (or other pet) that it is loved?

What a beautiful kitty. We haven’t had a cat around for about 5 years now, she was 17 when she passed and we miss her tons! She was an outside cat, but loved to come in once in a while and sit in the sunny patch of our couch!
