Ways to snack healthier on vacation

One of my main goals this year is to eat healthier and to start getting my weight back under control. I have been trying to live better, but it can be challenging, especially when you are on vacation. We just got back from a three-week vacation to Florida, and while we were there we tried our best to eat healthily. But without a kitchen at most of the places we stayed, we were forced to eat out. While we couldn’t do much about that, we were able to control what snacks we had and I knew I wanted to snack healthier so we felt better.  Not only did we want snacks for when we were in the hotel, but also for when we went to the theme parks to snack on throughout the day. One of our favorite go-to snacks that we kept with us were the Crunchmaster Crackers.

The Cruchmaster Crackers helped us keep our energy up because they are packed with natural goodness. Not only are they good for us, but they taste great and come in a variety of flavors. You can see how I also love these for on-the-go moms. Have a good healthy snack on hand whenever you need it is something that is hard to come by, but Crunchmaster Crackers fit the bill perfectly. The packages are resealable so that makes it extra easy to keep these in your backpack, purse or car so you have them on hand when you need them.

My kids always seem to be hungry, or at least snacky, so we always had a big backpack with treats in it. We always added a bag of Crunchmaster Crackers, and each day they would get gobbled up by the kids before lunch. It was a great way to help tide them over until we had our late lunch/early dinner in the parks. On days we weren’t at a park, they would love to eat them while we were walking around or just hanging out in the hotel.

We were able to go and do so many things because we had good energy and I know that it was in part due to the fact that I wanted us to snack healthier on vacation. Here are some other things that will help you snack healthier on vacation and also keep you hydrated:

  • Take a backpack with you (especially if you are going to a theme park, and our your own healthy snacks to eat while you are there.
  • Pack healthy snacks like Crunchmaster Crackers, dehydrated fruit, veggies, etc. that will help keep your energy up through the long day
  • Avoid the temptation to drink a lot of soda, and fill up on water
  • Take water bottles and keep them filled with ice water
  • Opt for things like frozen yogurt instead of ice cream or look for low-calorie options

It isn’t always easy to snack healthier on vacation, but with a little effort and making sure you have healthy things on hand to eat, you will be able to knock it out of the park!

I love this post! These are so important to do while on vacation! My son and I just got back from visiting family for two weeks and I felt like we ate terribly the whole time! I usually make sure we get our fruits and veggies in everyday, but while on vacation we ate out a lot and did so many activities we ended up munching a lot as well! Next time around I am definitely going to have an extra bag just for some better snacking habits! Thanks for sharing!

It is so easy to over indulge on vacation. I always try to look for healthy options. I love a good cracker. I must try these! I also love resealable packages.

OMG the Crunchmaster Crackers is what I’m looking for. Mom’s always complain that snacks are unhealthy even though I’m almost addicted to them. And I’m easily get hungry so I need something to provide energy like this. Thanks for such an awesome suggestion.

I will have to pick up some Crunchmaster Crackers to try. It is a smart idea to pack your own snacks on vacation. My diet always goes downhill when we travel.

Oh gosh, we are terrible when we eat on vacation. But, I do pack a lot of these types of healthy foods listed. I haven’t tried these crackers, but can’t wait to find them in the store.

Crunchmaster crackers are a great idea for eating healthy on vacation! We typically stop at any local fruit stand and pick up fresh fruits and veggies to snack on during the day for our vacations.
