Breakfast is always a favorite part of my day. I love cooking and creating different dishes for my family – but sometimes it is just as fun to be able to put together a fun meal without having to do a lot of cooking. We love Waffles – but they can be a pain to make and they take a while – so we love to buy Eggo Waffles for busy mornings. I love all of the varieties and flavors too. One thing we love to do with them is have a Waffle Bar! Because my kids are well, kids, they have unique taste buds and put together some interesting combinations. We have a huge variety of toppings and they loved EVERY minute of it!

Included in our Waffle Bar was:

  • Eggo Waffles
  • Chocolate Sprinkles
  • Rainbow Sprinkles
  • Cinnamon/Sugar
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Syrup
  • Hot Fudge
  • Frozen Berries (thawed so they were soft)
  • Eggs
  • Sausage (patties and crumbled)
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Cheese Slices
  • Whip Cream
  • Chocolate Milk
  • Orange Juice

It was a huge success! I was really amazed at the different combinations that they put together and almost everything got eaten. I didn’t take long to put it all together. While I was toasting the Waffles, I was able cook the eggs and sausage  – so it only took about 10 minutes to set it all up. Another thing that I did that they really loved – was heating up the syrup. Just put the syrup in a microwave safe container (I like to use a Mason Jar) – and microwave for about 15 seconds.

We wanted to do something fun for my kids since they were having friends over – and it was a big hit! You can see a variety of Eggo Waffle Bar ideas here.

My daughter is so excited to get Eggo waffles – I couldn’t get them away from her. lol.

We picked up the Eggo Waffles at Walmart in the freezer section. There were so many good varieties that we had to try more than one 😉 Plus my kids eat like horses so I wanted to make sure that they had enough. We got Strawberry, Chocolatey chip Muffin, Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon Toast.

That’s quite a spread you’ve got there! My boys would think they were in heaven with a breakfast bar like this and it would be perfect for the weekends! I’ll have to put one together!

What a fun breakfast idea for the family! You have so many toppings that it would be hard to choose which ones to use. I think I would go for the sausage and syrup! #client

I think this is such a great idea. It allows everyone to make their own special waffles with the toppings of their choice and saves a lot of time and I bet clean up is fast and easy too. I love Eggos as you get a great waffle without the mess and clean up.
