Simple changes you can make to your daily routine for a healthier lifestyle

This post was sponsored by Hood as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. Being a mom that works from home full time and has four very active busy kids makes it hard for me to stay grounded in my personal goals, needs and wants. One of my big goals this year is to focus on becoming healthier. I know myself well enough to know that I wouldn’t be able to completely stop eating or drinking certain things, like chocolate milk (which is one of my favs), so I looked instead for healthier alternatives. You can also print out this to save on your next purchase!

When I was at Walmart doing some grocery shopping, I found Hood Calorie Countdown diary beverage in regular and chocolate. I knew I had to try it so I got one of each along with a bunch of healthy snacks like avocado, bananas, apples, cucumbers, oranges and more! One of the things that have helped me the most is keeping healthier snacks and drinks on hand so that they are easy for me to get to when I get snacky. It has helped so much. Instead of reaching for junk food I am able to give my body healthier alternatives just by keeping it out in plain view.

Having Hood Calorie Countdown in my fridge also allows me to get my dairy fix without the calories. I love to taste of Calorie Countdown because it blends ultra-filtered milk with water, cream (and other ingredients) for a delicious and creamy taste while delivering fewer calories, less sugar, and fewer carbohydrates than regular milk. For example, the Hood Calorie Countdown chocolate Diary beverage has 56% fewer calories, 67% fewer carbs, and 75% less sugar than traditional chocolate milk.

When you are trying to make lifestyle changes, it is better to start small, one at a time, and become comfortable with that before moving on to something else. I have been trying to be more active and exercising every day, as well as making better choices when it comes to my diet. Calorie Countdown is the perfect fit for anyone who loves dairy (like I do) but wants to stick to a low calorie, low sugar change like I am trying to make. I also LOVE the taste of both the regular and chocolate dairy beverage. Having a glass once a day or adding it to my oatmeal or breakfast is a great way to get the nutrients regular milk provides without the high calories.

So instead of buying sugary treats at the store, grab a bag of carrots, some apples, and other fruits and veggies that you love along with Hood Calorie Countdown dairy beverage. Also, work on being more active and sticking to these choices. It takes a lot of self-discipline but you will be amazed at how quickly your body will start to crave the good stuff and you won’t even want the sugary junk food that is still at the store.  I would love to know what works best for you to stay on track for a healthier lifestyle. Please comment below with your tips. Also be sure to learn more about Hood Calorie Countdown and all of the amazing benefits!
