Our family of six took a two week road trip from Utah to Southern California and back again. We want to share our journey with you and what we learned. To read about all of the adventures we had on our California Spring Break trip, click here.

Traveling is hard enough without having to worry about your phone dying right when you need it the most. Carrying your wall charger with you everywhere in case you need to hijack an outlet and plug your phone in for 30 minutes just so you can have some battery for the rest of the night.

I have been there – and it stinks! I can’t tell you how many people I saw doing this, at all different times of the day, at every park and venue we went to on our trip. I also can’t express how happy I was to simply pull my RAVpower charger out of my bag, plug my phone in and I was on my way in 30 seconds – instead of 30 minutes.

I used it in the car, at the parks, while we were sightseeing, at the beach, at a dozen other places and it worked great – to not only give my phone a good charge – but my husbands also! I am glad we have more that one – because it gave me peace of mind knowing that I didn’t have to worry about my battery dying.

RAVpower makes all different kinds of great chargers – but we were able to use the RAVPower® Luster 6000mAh External Battery Pack Charger during our vacation and they were perfect! They enable you to run several extra hours on most devices and can charge 2-3 device off of one fully charged device. It is compact and portable and it also has a flashlight. We bumped the button a few times and the light stayed on, but I like having the light on there. These are perfect for any place and any device.

I have had to hijack outlets at various places I have gone. It does stink and it’s kind of embarrassing, not to mention a time sucker. I like the flashlight feature too – I’m sure it would come in handy as well.

I think this is such an awesome invention. I have always wished someone would come up with something like this! We lost power for awhile over the winter, and this would have been perfect for our cellphones!

During stormy seasons, we often lose power. Having the RavPower would give me some peace of mind that I would have a cell available longer.
