This post is brought to you by The PEEPS & COMPANY®. We received products in order to facilitate this post. All opinions are 100% our own. This is our PEEPS® Valentine’s Cupcakes Recipe that we are sharing.

PEEPS Valentine's Cupcakes

I love baking treats for my kids and with Valentine’s Day just around the corner I thought it would be fun to make them PEEPS® Valentine’s Cupcakes. They were super fun and easy and turned out great! I know that they will love seeing them when they get home from school today with a big glass of hot chocolate. To make the cupcakes you will need your choice of PEEPS® Valentine’s treats, your favorite cupcake mix, frosting (or you can make your own), sprinkles and cupcake liners. I also used lollipop sticks to stick the PEEPS® on and I love how they turned out.

TO make the cupcakes, you will want to cook the cupcakes according to the package directions. You can add fun things like chocolate chips or chopped cookies to them. Bake them and set them out to cool. Once they have cooled, you will want to put a few big scoops of frosting into a piping bag and choose the star tip, then pipe little stars on the tops of the cupcakes. You can also do circles or any other design you like or know how. Once they are frosted you will want to add some cute sprinkles to add that Valentine’s color and flair, then you can get the PEEPS® ready. I used a package of PEEPS® Valentine Hearts, and added some of the colorful MIKE AND IKE® Passion Mix candies and a few HOT TAMALES® on the frosting. I love how they turned out. You can also set everything out and let your kids decorate their own. This is a fun activity that will keep them busy and have a fun snack at the end.
