Meaningful family meals on busy nights

With a large family, busy nights are the norm. For us, it seems like it is even crazier. All of my kids are involved in dance, music, sports, and other school activities. I work full time from home and my husband works full time with an hour commute each way.

That means that there is a lot of coordinating and planning that goes into each day, especially for mealtimes. I have always been adamant about having family dinner. I think it is so important to sit around the table enjoying a delicious meal and talking about everyone’s day and being together.

It can be hard to find time to prepare a meal that my whole family love. I’m always looking for a simple and real mealtime solution that will satisfy all of us. So when I was grocery shopping a few days ago, I picked up Michael Angelo’s® Lasagna With Meat Sauce and I knew it would be perfect for my family. People commonly think that frozen foods are overly processed and are often passed over on a shopping trip for their family. Thankfully, Michael Angelo’s is as real as it gets. There are no preservatives. Michael Angelo’s entrees are made with real ingredients, real recipes, real food. I love how quickly I can have a meal on the table that tastes homemade.

My kids love to help me in the kitchen when they are home. It is nice to bond with them while we are cooking and to teach them how to make good food. This also gives us more time to talk about their days and everything that is going on.

With Michael Angelo’s, prepping and serving a delicious meal to my family is easier than ever before. We also love the rich taste of the ingredients and the ease of prepping.

While the Lasagna was cooking, my littles helped me make a salad. We just used green leaf lettuce and croutons with Italian dressing. It is so fun to be together in the kitchen and make those great memories.

The smell of the lasagna as it was cooking filled our house and made us all that much more excited for dinner. We also added the salad and garlic bread for a complete delicious meal.

    We don’t eat many frozen or prepackaged foods, but we *love* the Michael Angelo’s lasagna with meat sauce. Great go-to when I want an easy meal or night off from cooking. 🙂

    My in-laws love the veggie lasagna, but my personal favorite is the eggplant parmesan! I haven’t tried one that I don’t like, really!
