JORD Wood Watch Review {Sully Black and Maple}

I have worn a watch my entire life;  which means that I have gone through a lot of watches.  I have had several different “watch needs” for different occasions, from sport watches made out of plastic and rubber for jogging, swimming, etc. to all metal stainless steel watches for casual wear.  I have never really owned a “fancy” watch to be construed as more for elegance and prestige, than for day to day activities.  I have always felt like I was missing a part of my outfit when attending an employment banquet, going to my church, or just going out for a fancy dinner or date.

For this reason when “JORD” told me they wanted me to review one of their watches, I was extremely excited.  They sent me their elegant yet “manly” Sully Black and Maple hand crafted made from natural wood watch.  “The bands and movement housings can be made from one or more types of wood.  The internal movements are sourced from the finest international watch manufacturers and the glass is a scratchproof blue film glass.”

I’m not sure elegance even cuts as a descriptive word for such a magnificent piece of workmanship.  It is lightweight, I barely feel like it is on my wrist.  The entire watch housing is wood and so is the band, except the clasp is made from stainless steel.  The clasp allows for adjustments to the size, and the watch has a dial on the right side for adjustments of time.

 The watches diameters are:

Hardened scratch proof glass face:  33mm

Frame/Bezel:  41mm

Band width:  25mm

Lug ends: 51mm

I love the single action locking stainless steel clasp.  It adds that touch of refinement and shine and I have to mention of course the 3-hand Citizen Miyota Quartz movement is flawless in design and function.

By the way, I have had too many comments to count from countless people about how awesome and luxurious the watch looks.

These are amazing watching and would be a great gift for Father’s Day or Mother’s Day. They have so many styles and colors for men and women. This is such an original and amazing gift that is sure to treasured for years to come.
