We just got our copy of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. So I wanted to do a special movie night with the kids to celebrate! Of course, I had to make dragon cupcakes. So I decided to do dragon wing cupcakes and I LOVE how they turned out!
These are pretty easy to make. You will need cupcakes (you can make and frost them or buy them pre-made if you are short on time). Then you will just need to print out our free printable dragon wings cupcakes toppers that we made. There is a set for the Night Fury and the Light Fury.
Dragon Cupcakes
Once the cupcakes are ready you will frost them. You can have fun with this doing different colors and styles for the different types of dragons. You can also frost the cupcake and then just light push the frosted part into sprinkles and it will “top” it in that color.
You can also take the light fury wings and color them any color – so have your kids color them and make their cupcakes the color they want!

After the cupcakes are decorated, cut the wings out and tape a toothpick to the back. Then you can add them to your cupcakes and tada, you have dragon cupcakes!
My kids had so much fun helping me make these. They were a huge hit as part of our How to Train Your Dragon party!
