Google Chromecast at Best Buy

I have been using Google Chromecast for years. We have one on each of our televisions sets and use them all the time to connect to our phones and steam our favorite movies, shows, listen to movies and more!  One thing I LOVE is that when I open most apps, there is a CAST button that I click on and then I pick which device, and it connects and starts streaming the content. When I am using my phone with the casting button, I can still do other things on it because it isn’t mirroring my device.

There is an option to mirror (show on the TV what is on your phone) so you can share pictures, video, music or even read a book on your TV. You can take the Chromecast with you when you travel (you just have to be on the same wi-fi network for it to work, or you can add it. Get one (or two or three) at Best Buy and get them set up. It doesn’t take long and you will wonder why you haven’t been using them before.

We don’t have a cable service, we just stream our favorite shows and movies through our phone with our Chromecast. This has saved us a lot of money.

Here are some of our favorite features:

All together now

Watch movies, shows, live TV, YouTube, and photos streaming on your TV from all your family’s devices.¹

Stream from your phone to TV

Plug Chromecast into the HDMI port on your TV and to power and stream your favorite entertainment right from your phone with just a tap. Watch shows, listen to playlists, and more. And while streaming, you can still use your phone as you normally do.

Works with the streaming apps you know and love

Enjoy TV shows, movies, videos, songs, games, sports and more from over 2000 apps like Netflix, YouTube, YouTube TV, and HBO NOW. Find more at g.co/chromecast/¹

Start streaming with just your voice

Just say what you want to watch from compatible apps and control your TV hands-free, with Chromecast and Google Home working seamlessly together.² “Ok Google, play Stranger Things from Netflix on my living room TV.” ¹

Upgrade your TV for less

Expand your home entertainment without buying a new TV. It’s so affordable you can get one for every TV in the house.

High-speed wireless connectivity

Built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi connects to the Internet through your wireless home network (wireless router required and sold separately).

Compatible with your existing HDTV

Easily connects to high-definition televisions with HDMI connectivity.

You can see how easy it is to connect your Chromecast:

  1. Just plug the Chromecase into your HDMI port on your television.
  2. Open the Google HOME app and set up the device
  3. Open hundreds of different apps and see which ones have the CAST symbol (pictured above)
  4. Click on it and start casting to your Chromecast device
  5. Click STOP CASTING when done

You can still use your phone/device while it is casting without interrupting the playback. You can also cast your screen (show what is on your phone/device on the TV). We have used Chromecast for years, and many of those have been without a cable/satellite service. We have no regrets. It is simple, affordable and easy for everyone in the family to use.

Get your Chromecast at Best Buy, cancel your cable, and save that money for the holidays!

² Google Home, Chromecast, and compatible content required to cast to a TV using Google Home.

I’d love to get one of these gadgets. I’ve heard a lot about them lately. Thanks for posting!
