Halloween Advent Calendar in a Jar
One fun idea that we are going to do this year (because its easy and fun, is going to be an Advent Jar for my kids. Since there are four of them – I am going to cut up 124 papers and put them into a glass jar. Then can each take a turn pulling a paper out each day and they will get the “trick or treat” written on the inside.
It will just be a fun way to start each October morning! Some of the things we have included are candy, small toy, choose breakfast, choose dinner, make Halloween craft of choice, make Halloween treat, go to park, paint nails, make trick or treat bags, face painting, etc.
If you are handy with a sewing machine you could sew squares onto a larger square and make them into pockets and stuff them with treats and treasures for your kids to find. Or even coupons for things like the movies or eating out or playing a game, etc.
