Captain Marvel hits theaters this weekend, and to celebrate we made some delicious Captain Marvel Cupcakes! I made the star design that you can print out and use as is, or cut the stripes off the sides and use gold sugar pearls to decorate with.

This is the full logo that I made from the Marvel one used in Captain Marvel. If you want to get an idea of the color scheme.

I have shown examples of both below so you can see. I also made a black and white version as well as a color one so you can have your kids color beforehand if you want!

To make your Captain Marvel cupcakes:

To make your Captain Marvel cupcakes, you are going to need the following supplies:

  • Cupcakes
  • Frosting (I prefer cream cheese because it tastes good and can be changed colors easily)
  • Yellow/gold candy balls
  • Red food coloring
  • Blue food coloring
  • Captain Marvel cupcake topper printable in b&w or gold
  • Toothpicks and tape

Once you have your cupcakes baked, wait for them to cool completely before doing your frosting. Split your frosting into two parts. Take part of your frosting and dye it blue, and take another part and dye it red.

Frost the top of the cupcake red, and the bottom blue. You will want to do it in a “V” shape as shown above so you can do the stripes.

Next you will take your gold/yellow candy balls and do two rows, one on each side of the white frosting strip. (reference picture for more detail).

Perfect for parties, birthdays and more

These Captain Marvel cupcakes make the perfect treat for birthday parties, school parties, having friends over, movie nights and more! You can surprise your kids with your prowess in the kitchen, or have them help you make them at home!

I hope you enjoy these delicious and fun Captain Marvel cupcakes as much as we have. The movie comes out theaters today so be sure to go and see it! You can read our Captain Marvel review here.

My daughter and her boyfriend are big Marvel fans, so they are going to see this movie for his birthday on the 14th, I think we will try making these cupcakes too, the design is too cute!
