One thing that my kids and I enjoy doing together all the time is reading. We have read and reread so many books, so when we get a new one, we are always excited. We recently got Aladdin: Far from Agrabah By Aisha Saeed and we LOVE the book.

She brings so much life into these characters that we all grew up with, and really pulls you into the story from beginning to end. You get to know Aladdin and Jasmine in a way that you haven’t been able to until now. The story starts after Aladdin has already found Genie and is trying to impress Princess Jasmine.

Get pulled into a classic story that will add character depth, excitement, adventure and more and leave you wanting more. I am so excited to see the new Aladdin movie and see how they work together!

About the Author

She is also the author of the middle grade novel Amal Unbound, which has received starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly and Kirkus and is a Global Read Aloud for 2018.     Of course I like Aladdin but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the magic carpet. He is a true character.

    I’ve actually never seen it. I didn’t get to watch movies growing up, so I’m seeing all the Disney movies for the first time as an adult with my own five-year-old 😀

    To be honest it would be both Aladdin and Genie, Aladdin really had good intentions and Genie was really a good guy

    We love Aladdin! We loved the Disney version. In fact we own it. The kids still watch it.
