To wrap up our fun weekly kid’s activity series, we are sharing a fun farm/petting zoo family activity with a printable. This is so fun to do with your kids. This printable farm animal scavenger hunt will keep your kids excited to explore everything at the farm or petting zoo.
We even left room for them to draw some animals they find that we didn’t include. I hope your kids enjoy it as much as mine did!

If you are not sure where a farm or petting zoo is near to you, just do a quick google search to find one. I know that my kids love visiting the local farms in our area and this farm animal scavenger hunt makes it that much better.
This is so much fun to so with your family! I even have it so you can print it out with a large scavenger hunt on one full paper, or have it so there are two on one paper so each one is half a sheet of paper.
You will want to get some clipboards for them to put the papers on, and a baggie of crayons for each kid, as well as a pencil.
Take your time and really have fun with the animals, learning about what sounds they make, what they eat, where they live, etc. This is a great opportunity for you and your kids to really have fun connecting with nature.

We were able to have rides on donkeys, hold baby animals, milk cows, go on a wagon ride, pet horses, hold chickens and so much more. If your kids don’t get to be around animals like this very often, then this will really be even that much more fun!
