I love the rustic farmhouse style. I have been slowly getting my house decorated by making or putting together certain decorations. With fall coming up, I have been having fun making simple DIY rustic farmhouse fall decor. These ideas are simple and cost way less than buying them at the store already made. DIY Leaf Garland

I made this leaf garland last year and it is still one of my favorite decorations. I got the burlap string/wire at a thrift store, and then picked up the leaves at Hobby Lobby. I got the mini paper clips at Walmart. Just measure out how long you want the garland to be and add about 5 inches on each end for the loops to hang it. Then space the leaves evenly and use the paper clip to attach them to the burlap string. I made two of them. One for my window and one for our large mirror.

DIY bread bowl with pumpkins and pinecones

When we were at a huge outdoor yard sale earlier this year someone was selling homemade bread bowls. I obviously picked one out because I freaking loved how they look and brought it home. It took me a couple of months to really decide what to do with it, but I love how it turned out. I got the pumpkins and pinecone mix from Hobby Lobby. You can set it up however you want. This will be fun to decorate seasonally! Now to figure out what to do for Christmas…

DIY stained pumpkin with metal word

I got this wood pumpkin from Oriental Trading a couple of years ago and decided to stain it to match the Farmhouse Entry my husband helped me do. I added a metal cutout word and some raffia on the top to look like leaves. It adds a beautiful and simple rustic touch to my decor and I can leave it up through Thanksgiving. I love this piece. Especially since I can replace the floral and decor in the jar for whatever season. I got the floral and the jar and filler all at Hobby Lobby on sale. There are so many different things you could do with this, and I love how versatile it is.

DIY Wood Bead Garland

I have wanted one of these for a long time, but I haven’t wanted to pay the high price tag for it. So I did a bunch of research and got some nice wood beads and twine, and had fun putting my own together. I LOVE how it looks with the new centerpiece I put together for my coffee table.
