We bought our house about a year ago, and I LOVE the layout, but I haven’t really done any decorating. Just unboxing our old decor, but I didn’t really want to put a lot of it out because my tastes have changed, so I have started scouting rustic living room decor ideas for what I want to do. There are so many that I love, that I decided to share them all here, in case anyone else is looking. I will be sure to update you with my before and afters as I get my house done. I would also love to hear your ideas and feedback and hacks, so be sure to share them in the comments so we can all learn.

I love the rustic living room look, and will probably take that style throughout the rest of my house. The blue jars/vases with the old windows, wood accents, frames, etc and on and on. So much to think about, make and shop around for. I will be looking at consignment stores, yard sales, etc too so I can save some money as we are doing it. I am really excited about this new project and for how amazing I know my living room, entry way will look. I have already started collecting some different colors and styles of mason jars, and can’t wait to incorporate them.

Here are 25 rustic living room decor ideas to get you inspired:

It is going to take me a while to find all of the pieces I want and to integrate them the way I have in my mind, but I know it is going to be worth it and look amazing for years to come. Have you recently redone your decor or are you in the process of doing yours? What are your style/tastes? What design tips do you have?

I will be sharing our DIY’s, before/afters and more in the coming months so be sure to keep an eye out for those. In the meantime, be sure to check out this wood photo board that we made.

Where can this type of chest/coffee table be acquired? I love the cozy, rustic, farmhouse end result!

Thrifting, flea markets, second hand stores are all good places to start. I agree, the end results are amazing.

These are awesome! I love the wood combined with the coat hooks. It’s rustic but still elegant. My husband brings antler sheds home all the time, so I would love to use those as coat hooks for an extra rustic feel. Thanks for sharing!
