As a mom of four with two pets, I am constantly cleaning. It feels like it anyways ;). I need tools in my house so I can be more efficient, I need them to work hard so I don’t have to. I recently got the Shark Genius Steam Pocket Mop and the Shark Rocket Complete Duo Clean Vacuum and I have been loving everything I can do with them. The Shark Genius Steam Pocket Mop System is by far the best steam mop system I have ever used. It works fast, cleaning my floors and there is no chemical involved (which I LOVE). With little kids and pets running around, I don’t want to use chemicals if I can help it. I took me about 5 minutes to get it out of the box and put it all together. You just have to attach the handle on the top and snap in the piece that holds the cleaning pads. The new design is fantastic. I had a shark steam mop several years ago, and love all of the improvements. It is really easy to fill the tank with water. The pad is easy to change as well. Just push a button and the pad holder opens. You attach a new pad and then tip it to one side and then the other to secure it and you are ready to go. Took me about 20 seconds. The pad is also machine washable. This saves me time and money.
The steam mop took about 1-2 minutes to heat up and start steaming. You just move it back and forth to clean the floor but if you come across a particularly hard spot to clean, you flip the head of the mop underneath and push softly down and a spray of steam right onto the dirty spot and it makes it really easy to clean. Another great feature of the mop is how long the cord is. It makes it easy to clean my whole space without having to unplug and plug-in the mop. The Shark Genius Steam Pocket Mop System is a workhorse. Simplify your life and have your house cleaner at the same time!

My parents have a Shark, but it’s not as nice as this one. I love that you don’t have to use any chemical with this.
That’s a great soudning mop. I’m definitely on the look out for something to replace ours.
I love the washable pads! We use a Swiffer that looks similar, but it isn’t cost effective at all.
