I just got the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD from Best Buy and all I can say is “where have you been all my life”. It is such an amazing little hard drive – and by little I mean that literally. It is about 3″ wide and about 5″ tall and less than a half inch high. It has a 1TB internal memory – so no worries about it being “big” enough to hold everything!
I love photography. I am always taking loads of pictures and video and dumping them, from my phone and camera, onto my computer. With my camera, it is not so bad. I get to pull the memory card, transfer the files and I am done. I do like to back up these files on an external hard drive about once a month though. With my phone, it is a big pain to transfer the photos/videos and usually takes forever.

My life has literally been changed. I also love that it has a hole for a carabiner. It is so nice to use on the go. I was able to take several pictures and video on my phone and camera, transfer them to my SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD and then load the ones I want on my computer. It has made editing photos so much easier and I love that the hard drive can “keep up with me” wherever I am.
