I attended the McFarland USA Press Junket and was also able to cover Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast, Big Hero 6, Fresh off the Boat, and Disney’s Bad Hair Day. It was a great trip where I got to meet Kevin Costner, Ginnifer Goodwin, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Scott Adsit, and many other amazing and talented people. You can read all about the experience here.
You can read more about all the work I do with Disney HERE. If you are interested in seeing our reviews you can view them HERE
I am very excited to now be working with PBS Kids as a VIP Blogger and Ambassador. This will have many benefits for not only me and my family but also my readers as I share new and upcoming shows, information and more! You can read a little about the PBS Annual Meeting trip in Austin, TX that I am attending in May.

We were on KSL The Browser 5.0 Show to talk about Pinterest. This was our first time on TV, and despite the nerves, I think it went pretty well! 🙂
I have to tell you how excited I am to have had this experience! I was so nervous (and when that happens I tend to forget what I am saying…lolol). But overall, I am just thankful for the opportunity. I had a lot of fun.

Utah Coupon Deals was interviewed for an article on saving money when shopping for back to school items on Ksl.com and KSL News Radio! Here is part of the Back to School Part 2: 5 most common shopping mistakes article:
“Not stocking up for the future
Imagine you see an ad for a screaming deal on tape. You may say to yourself, “I’m not looking for tape right now. Thanks anyway.” Well, you may need a lot of tape around the holidays, so stock up while the price is low.
Blogger Coralie Seright with utahcoupondeals.com said, “I buy four boxes or five boxes of crayons every time we go to the store because they’re 20 cents a box, right now. In March and April, they’re priced at like a dollar.”
Seright says even if you don’t live near the store that’s advertising, many retailers will match their competitor’s price. So, you can still save money. But you need to remember that the lowest price might not always be the best deal.
Purchasing based solely on price
Let’s say you’re looking for a graphing calculator, and hypothetically, you see one for $50 and another for $60. Seright says you need to check out the reviews on sites like Amazon before you buy one.
“That way, you’re not going and spending $50 on a graphing calculator that people hate, as opposed to (spending) $60 and get one that people love,” she said.”

We were also interviewed for two different columns in the Salt Lake Tribune Newspaper. Here are parts of the articles:
Faces of the downturn: Utah’s middle class under fire:
Coralie Seright, 29, a mother of three in Magna, says her family’s household income hasn’t changed in three years. Husband Clint, 31, a Salt Lake County corrections officer, has been told he won’t get a raise for at least another year. That’s made it tough to absorb rising prices for food, health insurance and other necessities. To cope, the Serights clip coupons, stock up on goods and watch their spending. Pleasures such as movies and once-a-week meals out are no more. When they look down the road, the future looks daunting. “I really feel like our [middle-class] status is slipping,” Coralie said.

For Utahns, inflation at top of economic fears
Like many Utahns, Coralie Seright has tried to cut back in areas she can control. She and her family clip coupons, try not to eat out much and carefully monitor spending. She’s even created her own blog, Utahcoupondeals.com, which is devoted to saving money. There’s also an ongoing discussion on needs and wants, and what the family can live without.
