I have been trying to potty train my son for a while now. Most of it was in vain because he just wasn’t ready. It is important to make sure they are ready and willing otherwise, no matter how hard you try, you are really just training yourself to take them to the potty instead of them learning how to do it alone. Enter….Potty Training Alarm Diapers.
“Potty Training Alarm Diapers are designed to notify you and your child when wetting occurs, so that you can place your child on the toilet immediately. Being placed on the toilet while the event is still fresh in your child’s mind helps them make the connection between cause and effect more quickly and effectively.”
So I heard of Potty Patrol Training Alarm Diapers and I felt like this was really what he needed. I needed some help with potty training. Something to help him realize “that he had to go”. Nothing else had worked (pull-ups, underwear, treats, stickers, running to the bathroom every 15 minutes). So many things I tried. Actually being consistent at taking him to the potty every 15 minutes was doing pretty good, but if I forgot or was busy, he wouldn’t go, even when he had to, so it ended up being a wet pants mess to clean up. Potty Patrol is an awesome tool because when he started to wet his diaper, the “alarm” would start to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and I would know that I needed to take him to the potty. He quickly make the connection that peeing needed to be done on the toilet.
Potty Patrol has helped him learn the “feeling” of when he needs to go, because when the diaper gets liquid in it at all, it starts to play a song. This reminds him that he is going potty in his diaper and to run to the potty. It has really helped a lot. With that huge stepping stone over with, we are finally in the final stages of training. It has been wonderful to not have to change diapers on two kids now! YAY! If you are looking for a way to help your kids potty train quickly, you have to get Potty Patrol.
