We went to Sam’s Club a while ago and they had a new item menu- pizza pretzels. I had to try one and I immediately fell in love. So we went home and I decided I wanted to figure out how to make them so we came up with a simple Pizza Pretzels recipe that became an instant hit!

The first thing is to gather all of the ingredients. To make our Pizza Pretzels, you will need:

  • Frozen Pretzels (with salt)
  • Marinara sauce (or spaghetti sauce)
  • Cheese (mozzarella is best, but you can use any cheese)
  • Pepperoni (you can add other toppings as well like cooked ground sausage, diced onions, diced olives, diced peppers, etc)
  • Cookie sheet with silicone baking mat

Once you have everything ready, you will start making your pizzas. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Take the frozen pretzel and rinse it under water, lightly shake it off, and then put it on a plate and lightly sprinkle the pretzel salt over it. Then microwave it, uncovered, for 45 seconds.

Next, you will take the marinara sauce and use a silicone basting brush, and put a layer of sauce over the pretzel.

Now you will add a light layer of cheese (again, mozzarella is best, but you can use whatever) and then a layer of pepperonis, and then another light layer of cheese. It will fall down in the holes, but try and keep it on the pretzel as much as possible.

Repeat with all of the pretzels you want to make. This is easy to make just one or 20. We are able to fit 6 at a time on our cookie sheets.

Once you have them all built, you will put them in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve with a side of heated marinara sauce for dipping and lots of napkins (cause it can be messy lol).

  • Now you will add a light layer of cheese (again, mozzarella is best, but you can use whatever) and then a layer of pepperonis, and then another light layer of cheese. It will fall down in the holes, but try and keep it on the pretzel as much as possible.

Be sure to pin this for later. It is so easy and delicious and one of our favorite things to make (especially for movie nights!)
