Massbricks Life Size Blocks Review

Massbricks Life Size Blocks Review

My four and two year old  have a lot of creativity in them, but being so small they are rather limited in how they can express that. Art, creative play, and blocks are three of their favorite ways to express themselves. Recently I was introduced to Massbricks Life Size blocks by Platports and I wasn’t sure how my kids would react.

I didn’t know if the blocks would be too big or if my kids would like to have something that big – and I had NO reason to even worry. From the moment the box arrived my four year old son saw the picture on the side and couldn’t wait patiently enough while I helped him open it.

As the box came open my two year old came over to get in on the action. These blocks are big, I am not talking like Mega Bloks big – but think of the size of a shoe. These blocks are great. Because of their size, even my two year old was able to build and create, and take them apart without any problems.

My favorite part was the booklet that came with it and it is full of patterns that show you step by step how to make different things with the blocks. My kids’ favorite is the robot. When he is built, it is as tall as my two year old.

The biggest advantage for us is that they are big and really hard to loose. It is also nice that our youngest kids and friends can’t choke on them or really put them in their mouth. We are able to keep the whole 31 block set in the box it came in (its fun for my kids to try and get them all to fit the way they were when they came) and the box is about 20″ x 20″. So its not an unbearable amount of space.

We have four kids, 9, 6, 4, and 2 and they all love to play with these Massbricks Life Size Blocks. This would be a great thing for any kid to wake up to on Christmas morning – especially if Santa felt so inclined to build something cool (like the robot) with the Blocks before he left.
