CLIF Kid ZBar Protein #FitMadeFun Day

LeapFrog declared September 6 Fit Made Fun Day. “Coinciding with the global launch of the LeapBand™, the new wearable activity tracker from LeapFrog, this special celebration encourages kids and their families to jump into motion and experience the fun of an active and healthy lifestyle.” Soccer star Mia Hamm and more than 300 kids and parents became Guinness World Records record holders for most people hoping on one foot, most people making sand angels, and most people doing the swim dance at the special Fit Made Fun beach event in Santa Monica, CA. While we weren’t able to be there, we were able to hold our own fun Fit Made Fun day. It was a lot of fun 😉 to be able to be part of this. My kids had a great time with their new LeapBands and being rewarded for being fit.

Keeping my little ones active has been more of a challenge than I expected now that big sisters are back in school. When I was asked to be part of the #FitMadeFun Day with the new LeapFrog LeapBands I was really excited! I knew this would be something that would get them up and moving and away from their devices and the TV. Just as I had predicted, my kids went crazy, and have been using them every day since. My four (almost 5 year old) LOVES his LeapBand. He gets to choose his pets, pick the color, name them, and even feed it and exercise with it. He loves that he gets to collect jewels when he does what he is supposed to and that he can use those for rewards.

The batteries in the LeapFrog LeapBands are rechargeable. You just hook it up to your computer or into a USB charger and you can charge the battery. It lasts for a few days of active play off and on. It shuts off automatically after around 1 minute of being unused. The band fit onto my kids ok. It it really stiff and keeps it in place, without being uncomfortable or hurting them. Overall I am pretty impressed with how they work and how much my kids enjoy using them.

We were able to have a #FitMadeFun Day party and it was fun to play and exercise and have yummy treats thanks to CLIF Kid ZBar Protein. They have a lot of great flavors and they taste really great. I have to hide these because my kids will eat a whole box in one sitting lol. They are packed with 5 g of Protein and 3 g if Fiber in every bar. Not only do they give them a lot of energy to be active and healthy, but they also give them a great amount if fiber which helps their digestive “stuff”. My girls ate these before the Kids Adventure Games, and they loved the extra boost of energy that they received.

You can find out more about the LeapFrog LeapBand’s on the LeapFrog Website.
