Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa in Orlando, Florida

We are excited to share all of our adventures of our almost three week trip to Florida that we took as a family this summer. We started off at LEGOLAND and then headed up to Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa for a couple of days to relax and take in the Florida sun. I am so happy that we went there. The large pool with the pirate ship/slide was the source of many hours of enjoyment for my family, not to mention the incredible rooms and overall amenities of the hotel itself.

After spending the day at the pool, we went back to our large suite to relax and unwind. Our suite consisted of a bedroom (with two beds) and a bathroom for the kids and a large master room with bathroom for my husband and I. It also had a living room and a full kitchen along with a washer and dryer. It was like a home away from home. Not only did it give us room to spread out and enjoy the room comfortably, but it allowed us to cook meals, do laundry, etc.

There is a lot to do on site including a restaurant, and also outlet stores across the street. It is also located close to many different stores and restaurants. While we were staying there we went to the Medieval Times Dinner Show. It was a great experience and a great place to visit while you are in the area. There is a Walmart just a few minutes away from where we went and got groceries so we could cook some meals in the kitchen while we were there. It was also nice to have the dishes and dishwasher.

In the building we stayed in, there was a two level parking garage under the hotel. This was nice and made it convenient to park close to where we were at. There are elevators that make it easy to get to the floor you are staying on. Our room also had a nice big balcony on it that I enjoyed going out on in the mornings and evenings and taking in the view and soaking it all in.

Lake Buena Vista Resorts is a great family friendly place to stay where your family will be comfortable and everyone will have a great time in the pool and room. It is also located close to Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios Orlando. When you are planning your vacation, make sure you leave time open to spend in the room and in the pool. It is fun and relaxing and a great way to spend a “break” day between parks.
