Kids Thanksgiving Craft: Turkeys Place Cards

My daughter came home from school yesterday with one of these cute turkeys, and all of my kids loved it, so we had to go and get the stuff today and make them as a family tonight. It was a lot of fun, and a great family time activity. The best part was listening to my 7 year old give us step by step instructions on how to make it. I loved it. She is so cute. You can definitely tell that she is the oldest. She has that “little mom” attitude. We had so much making these. It was simple and fun, but it brought us all together for something that we will remember.

Add a “homemade” card to the turkey to use them as Turkey Place Cards or you can just use them as decorations on the Thanksgiving table or around the house. It is fun as a place card because then it gives the kids something to snack on while they are waiting for their food!

What you need:

1 small box of raisins
Fruit Loops
Spice Drops (mini gum drops)
Large Gum Drops or Orange Slices
Candy Corns
Large Marshmallows
Box of Toothpicks
I apple per turkey

Then you just put it all together like it is shown here in the picture!

What fun activities do you like to do, or what fun traditions do you have?
