I’ve partnered with Word Entertainment for this sponsored review. All opinions are my own. When it comes to music, I try and listen to uplifting, positive music that I can have playing even with my kids around. It is not always easy to find albums (songs, yes, but albums not so often) I can listen to with my kids. I recently heard of Francesca Battistelli and I have been listening to her , and love the songs and music.

My girls have been having so much fun dancing around (especially practicing their ballroom dancing) to the songs too! The Very Best is one of our favorites. We also love two of the most popular songs, The Breakup Song and Royalty. The album has a great pop feel, and a lot of fab songs that we love to sing along with. I love it and the lyrics are clean and uplifting. This is one you definitely want to get and listen to with your family.

Francesca Battistelli “Own It” Track Listing:

  1. The Breakup Song
  2. The Very Best
  3. Love Somebody
  4. Royalty
  5. This Could Change Everything
  6. As Good As It Gets
  7. You Belong
  8. Let The Light In
  9. Defender (feat. Steffany Gretzinger)
  10. Freedom

You Belong is another one I love singing along to. It also has a great meaning about being yourself, knowing you are important and unique. Check out the video below for another one of her fantastic songs, This Could Change Everything:

Here is what Francesca Battistelli shared about her experience co-writing nine of the ten songs:

“I thought I had a handle on what this album was going to be, but my husband and I prayed before every songwriting session, and God gave me a completely different set of songs than I was expecting,” Battistelli exclaims. “These songs are so empowering. What they represent to me is my desire to own my identity in Christ, to kick fear out of my life, to own the present moment and not live in the past or even the future. I don’t want to walk in half of what God has for me. I want to walk in all of it. I want to own it! And I want that for everyone who listens too.”

“Royalty,” the album’s second digital release, releases today on all digital platforms. Both “The Breakup Song,” which is climbing at radio and currently top 15 on multiple charts, and “Royalty” are available now with the live pre-order.

Francesca Battistelli is also going to be doing The Breakup Tour over the next few days!

Thursday, October 25 – Cleveland, OH

Friday, October 26 – Pittsburgh, PA

Saturday, October 27 – Lancaster, PA

Sunday, October 28 – Lexington, SC
