Almost everyone in my household deals with seasonal allergies. On top of that, my daughter who is 7 also deals with asthma. This can be a tricky thing to combat. We have to make sure we keep our house as close to dust free as possible and the best air quality we can achieve. This includes keeping our house dusted, not leaving windows and doors open, and vacuuming and cleaning regularly. Another important part of this puzzle is changing out the air filters on our furnace regularly. That is something that a lot of people don’t think about doing – and it really is a very important thing that needs to be done about every three month to keep your furnace running better, reduce the allergies in your home, and improve air quality. We like to use because they give us extra levels of protection and filtration that other filters don’t have.

Dealing with grass allergies and asthma in Children

Since we have a lot of issues with grass allergies and asthma, we have to be really careful, and using a great in our furnace, makes a BIG difference in the air quality in our home. We have central air and heat so everything runs through those vents almost year round. A good filter is key.

When you think about Spring cleaning or Fall cleaning – I would bet that changing out air filters is probably not on your list – or not very high up on your list, but it is really important to add that 5 minute chore because of all the added benefits that you receive. There are four different styles that we were sent to try:
