Favorite books to read with my kids

To celebrate #WorldReadAloudDay, I am sharing a list of our favorite books to read with your kids and family. My kids love it when I read aloud to them, and now that they all know how to read, we often take turns reading. It is a great way to bond and to read fantastic books together and talk about them.

The Adventurers Wanted Series by M.L. Foreman

The sign is small, tucked into the corner of Mr. Clutter’s bookshop window: “Adventurers Wanted. Apply Within.”No one but fifteen-year-old Alex Taylor even seems to notice it is there. Gregor the Overlander: The Underland Chronicles Series by Suzanne Collins

The New York Times bestselling series by Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games, is about a boy named Gregor. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson is a good kid, but he can’t seem to focus on his schoolwork or control his temper.
