We were able to screen Raya and the Last Dragon and Us Again thanks to Disney. All opinions are my own.
It has been a while since we have seen a Disney animated movie. When we found out about Raya and the Last Dragon, we couldn’t wait to watch it. All of our anticipation and excitement was not misplaced. The movie is amazing. The animation is beyond incredible and I loved the storyline.
Raya is a rockstar. She is a strong heroine, good leader, smart, and capable. But she doesn’t trust many people. Throughout the movie I love watching her learn and grow, along with the other characters in the movie and develop that teamwork, trust, and forgiveness that is needed to accomplish their final goal.
The movie is clean. Very little intense “scary” scenes, and those are mostly at the very end. No language. I don’t remember any innuendos or other content. The outfits are modest and actually very beautiful. This movie is prefect for all ages and it will be one that your kids will want to watch again and again and again.
One thing to note – there is no singing in this movie. So if you are scared to watch it because you don’t want to listen to the soundtrack again and again – like umm..(*cough*) Frozen…that won’t be an issue with this movie. lol. Not that there is anything wrong with the Frozen soundtrack – but you can only hear it so much.
We were also able to screen the new short Us Again. This was fantastic! I loved the theme behind it to be grateful for what you have and appreciate it. Also -the dancing is so fun to watch.
I hope you enjoy Us Again and Raya and the Last Dragon as much as we do! You can watch it in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access starting March 5, 2021. It is scheduled for June 2021 to be available to watch on Disney+ (without premiere access).

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Raya and the Last Dragon’’ will be available on Disney+ with Premier Access in most Disney+ markets, at the same time as it is released in select theaters on March 5, 2021.
“Raya and the Last Dragon” takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada are directing, with Paul Briggs and John Ripa co-directing. Osnat Shurer and Peter Del Vecho are the producers, and Qui Nguyen and Adele Lim wrote the screenplay.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Us Again” will screen before “Raya and the Last Dragon” in theaters. It will be available on Disney+ in June 2021.
