Disney On Ice: Toy Story 3

We were able to go see Disney on Ice: Toy Story 3 last friday (3/9). It was a lot of fun. The show was a lot different that what I expected, but we have never been to a Disney on Ice show, or anything like it before either. The first half of the show followed along a little with the movie, pieces here and there, but for the most part it was like “flashbacks” and dancing. It was cool. The kids thought it was entertaining, but you got lost with the storyline of the show.

After intermission, they had the “real” Toy Story 3 story and I loved it. I wished that they had taken the whole show to do the actual story line because I felt like it was a little rushed to get it all in during the second half. Overall we really loved it. The skaters were amazing and the show was entertaining.

My only complaint about it was how expensive the souvenirs and snacks were. But that is the same at every event you go to, whether Disney on Ice or a Rodeo. If you haven’t ever seen a Disney on Ice show they are great! My kids loved it, and we took my niece and my parents with us, and they all enjoyed it too. There were even special appearances by Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald. Great show. Your kids won’t be disappointed!

(I received a set of tickets to go to Disney on Ice as compensation for doing these posts. This did not affect my opinions or the views expressed)
