We were provided with a screening of Greenland and promo codes to give away. All opinions are my own.

2020 has been a year of devastation, destruction, loss, sadness, fear, and so many other emotions when we get to a more personal level. But it has also had hope, love, and things are starting to look better. As Greenland is based on an apocalyptic event that will destroy the world I felt like maybe this could be our “2020 Documentary” lol.

But seriously, the movie is fantastic! There are somethings that were obvious, but there were many aspects of the film that took me by surprise or that had me on the edge of my seat. It really pulls you into the movie, letting you feel real feelings and emotions about what is happening because its real – relatable and not “save the world”. That is great – but I love the realness of this film.

Greenland movie 2020

Gerard Butler is a favorite of mine. His accent, I mean his great acting and ability to conform to so many roles really make him fun to watch. He and Morena Baccarin have great chemistry and she does an incredible job. As far as watching this with your kids – here is what may or may not be flags.

The parents are separated at the beginning of the film and we had to do a little explaining about that. Along with the expected destruction from the Clark comet, there is also fighting, gun violence, and other elements that I don’t want to say without spoilers – but some of it is graphic and probably wouldn’t be good for kids under 12 to see.

The movie is now streaming on VUDU and Amazon Prime. Because we love the movie so much we are excited to be giving away 3 Vudu codes (each valued at $19.99) so you can rent the movie PVOD and watch it! See below for details on how to enter!

Nachos are my favorite movie snack, though they can be messy and noisy and make it hard to watch sometimes.
