I wouldn’t say that I LOVE cleaning, but I do enjoy the results of it, so that is my main motivation for cleaning. With four kids and two pets in the house, you can imagine that it gets dirty quickly and I am fighting an uphill battle to keep it looking clean and organized, but I keep fighting. Since I was the youngest of 5 and several years older than my next closest sibling, I grew up in a house that was generally clean and didn’t really get messed up because it was just me and my parents and we weren’t home a lot. Because of this I like having things clean and picked up, so my kids quickly learned good cleaning habits and can help me clean around the house (their bedrooms are a different story…but that is for another day.)  When I am cleaning I like to get a lot done as quickly as I can because there is just always so much going on everyday. This is just one reason why I love using Windex® brand products to clean our house with, because there are so many uses for it. Not only does it do an amazing job cleaning our windows and mirrors, but it also works great on sealed countertops, stainless steel sinks, outside of stoves, and many other places. We even used it to wipe down all of our light fixtures and ceiling fans.

Another thing I was excited to get done was organizing under our sink. It has been such a mess regardless of how many times I “organize” it, so I decided to do it a different way this time. I found the perfect size totes that fit most of our cleaners, brushes, soaps, etc. and then I got a curtain rod and hung it under the sink to hang the mostly empty bottles on so that my kids know which ones to use first. It works great! I love how it turned out and the totes make a big difference. I also got a stainless steel canister to put the brushes, etc. in. It has holes in the bottom and there is a towel under it to collect any water runoff. You can see the before and after below:

When I am cleaning I want to get things done quickly and easily because I have four kids who need my time and that is why I turn to the tried and true. Windex® is a great addition to my cleaning arsenal because of all of its many uses. If you remember in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, how the dad uses Windex® Original Glass Cleaner for almost everything?  I have found that I love to use it for cleaning many different areas of my house. The kitchen, bathroom, walls, hardware, light fixtures, doors and more. They have the bottles of Windex® Original Glass cleaner as well as Windex® Original Wipes, and also Windex® Electronic Wipes which are great for things like Flat screen tv, gaming systems, , computers screens and more (Before using on an unknown surface, test on an inconspicuous area.). All of these little things allow me to get the cleaning done faster and spend more time with my family.

You can see the difference here in the window and the door/hardware. I honestly didn’t realize how dirty it had gotten, and I am a little embarrassed to show you, but it is also a great example of how well Windex worked to take all of the dirt and grim off and leave my windows, door and hardware clean and shinning.

The Windex® Original Wipes are new to me, I hadn’t tried them before. The wipes are a good size and one wipe did my whole big mirror and the little one on the side. They were a thicker cloth so I didn’t have to worry about ripping it. The mirror was clean and streak free.  I picked everything I needed up at Smith’s.  They had a great selection and great prices.

I love what you did under the kitchen sink. By hanging up the spray bottles and having everything else in those bins, it looks so much better. I am definitely going to try that.
