Since I can remember,  literally,  I have been shooting a gun and going with my dad hunting.   I was fortunate to find a husband who also enjoys hunting and is an amazing shot. Our kids have often asked us to learn how to shoot but they weren’t old enough.  We had talked about it and decided that at the top of the cool Christmas gifts list was a gun so that is what we wanted to get our daughter.  It was no contest,  we knew we wanted to get her a Daisy Pink BB Gun.  #ItsADaisy has several different styles and sizes for different ages and it really makes a fun gift.

Thanks to #CollectiveBias, we were able to take her to Walmart to have her help us get it but she didn’t know what we were getting.  It was a lot of fun. There was a great Daisy display towards the front of the store that had everything we needed.  She was able to pick out the Pink Daisy BB Gun. BB’s, and Pink Safety Glasses.  The perfect combo for our little beginner.

As soon as we got it home,  we took it out of the box and went over a few safety tips, tried on the glasses,  and got the BB’s ready.  She was beyond excited at what was to come.  A couple days later we were able to go out,  setup a target (a pizza box with Circle we had drawn) and actually shoot the gun.

We loaded the BB’s into the Chamber,  and got setup.  She put her Daisy Safety Glasses on and listened intently while we went over the basics again,  like the safety,  how to pump it,  and how to hold it. My husband did a couple of test shots first then handed it over for our daughters first shot.  I was so excited to watch her, it was great. It only took her one shot and she was hitting the target like a pro. She is a natural. It was fun to listen to her dad give her tips and hints that helped her improve her shooting almost immediately.

The Daisy Pink BB Gun is the perfect first gun for her and I am so glad that she enjoys shooting as much as her parents. You can see how well she did for her first time. Only a few of the shots on the Target on from my husband and I. This was a great bonding experience for us as well. Sometimes it’s hard to find time to spend with each of your kids separately   -or find something they want to do when you do – but this will always be a favorite of ours.

There are a lot of great features of the Daisy Pink BB Gun – it has a pump action lever, painted solid wood stock, and smooth bore steel barrel for starters. It also has a fun saddle ring and tie. The BB’s are easy to load into the chamber at the top of the barrel and there is a safety on the gun. These are just a few of the reason that we chose a Daisy

    I think my niece would be afraid of this. She has a sensory issue so a lot of things are off limits for her. Might want to try it though just to see.
