Use a slow cooker to cut down on cooking and shopping time
I have found that using a slow cooker not only ensures my family get a healthy meal, but also that I am not as stressed out when it comes to dinner time. I don’t have to worry about what to make, or to make sure that there is enough time…I just have to set the table, make a side or rolls, etc, and its time to eat!
If you are a busy, working, or even a stay a home parent, one thing that can and always will be a time and money saver in the kitchen will be using your slow cooker.
Slow cooker recipes can be found about anywhere, and there are even some amazing slow cooker recipe books, and the reason for this is because they are a way to put a healthy, yummy, and fabulous dinner on the table without a lot of stress or time.
You can get a slow cooker for fairly inexpensive if you don’t have one, and if you do have one, break it out and start putting it to good use.
Slow cooker meals usually take about 5-30 minutes to put together and then you let them cook for several hours and have a nice lunch or dinner (or even dessert) to sit down to. You can even make meals ahead of time (slow cooker freezer meals) and have them do you just dump everything in your slow cooker and its ready to go.
Here are a few of my favorite slow cooker recipes:
