Artemis Fowl Party Ideas

This post is in partnership with Disney Book Group. All opinions are my own.

We received the whole set of Artemis Fowl books and me and my kids are loving reading them again. To celebrate, we decided to have a fun Artemis Fowl Party! The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer has recently been re-released with new cover designs. You can now get all 8 books with the new covers. Not only will your family fall in love with these timeless adventures, but you will also be able to read a sneak peek of “The Fowl Twins”, a brand-new spinoff novel following the adventures of Artemis Fowl’s twin brothers. Get your books here online or in-store.

ABOUT ARTEMIS FOWL

Twelve-year-old criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl has discovered a world below ground of armed and dangerous–and extremely high-tech–fairies. He kidnaps one of them, Holly Short, and holds her for ransom in an effort to restore his family’s fortune. But he may have underestimated the fairies’ powers. Is he about to trigger a cross-species war?

ARTEMIS FOWL PARTY IDEAS

As we have been enjoying the books so much we wanted to share some fun Artemis Fowl party ideas that we came up with. We are getting really excited about the movie coming out in August too! We created a secret message using the Gnomish Alphabet from the book that you can decode. This Artemis Fowl Decoder Message is really fun for all ages. It talks about a special mission to capture a fairy, so this is a great lead into a party game where they go on a treasure hunt (or scavenger hunt) to find a fairy and her gold.

We also made cupcakes with green frosting (like grass) with gold coins on them. We used our silicone molds and added melted chocolate. Put them in the freezer for about 10 minutes and they were perfect. Since Holly works as a LEPrecon (fairy police) I thought these were fitting and fun! They dress up as Leprechauns to go to the surface. You can also have them make fairy ears, or decorate with acorns. All of these things are important, especially in the first book.

We have had so much fun over Christmas break and the last couple of weeks reading all of these books again and enjoying the great stories over and over.
