We were able to test drive the car for a week through Drive Shop. We were not compesated in any way. All opinions are our own.

Recently, I test drove the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD. I have to tell you honestly that I fell in love with that car. It is so smooth and the features (like the Panoramic sunroof) really pulled at my heart strings. Keep reading to see why the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD is one of our top picks for 2017.

There are a lot of options when it comes to buying a car, and so I am very picky. There are little things that you don’t realize are important until they are not there. The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate AWD is packed with so many features that it was hard to explore them all in just a week. Some of the most prominent are the Multi-view Camera System,  the mirrors that rotate when you put the car in reverse, and the amazing FULL Panoramic sunroof (and I mean from front of car to back of car). This model seats 6 adults but the two back seats cam be a squeeze for leg room. The middle seats go forward and back, as well as fold up to make more room.

The front seats are heated and cooled. The rear seats boasted a heater and all of the seats are very comfortable with the leather trim. The four seats in the first two rows are adjustable, and the two front seats are power. The drivers side has an Integrated Memory System (IMS) for the driver seat and side mirrors so you can preset two different drivers seat preferences. This was nice for me and my husband since we are always readjusting the seats after the other drives in our other cars.

Another thing that I really enjoyed was the dual climate control since I am usually colder than my husband, so we were able to travel comfortably without fighting over the temperature. There is also a different setting for the rear vents, and a rear vent control in the back. There is no shortage of USB chargers in the car which is perfect for this techie family. Something else the rear passengers will enjoy are the windows that go all the way down as well as the rear side window sun shades that you can put up and down. My 5 year old figured these out, so they are super easy to use and very effective.

One thing I love in these new models is the Smart Cruise Control system. The Smart Cruise Control allows you to set your cruise control at a certain speed, and the car will automatically speed up or slow down to keep itself at that speed in traffic. You can set it from 4 car lengths up to 1 car length. If you love using the cruise control like I do, and drive in “city traffic” like I do, you will fall in love with feature too!

The 8″ touch screen display boasts navigation, AM/FM/CD/HD Radio™/SiriusXM/MP3 and many other features. The sound system makes you feel like you are standing in the room with the musicians. The Infinity® Premium Audio with Quantum Logic® Surround and Clari-Fi™ Music Restoration Technology sounds amazing. You can also control most of this from the steering wheel. You get Steering-wheel-mounted audio, cruise and Bluetooth® controls as well as a Tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel that is Leather-wrapped. It is very comfortable to hold and easy to access everything.

We got a lot of adventuring in while we had this car. We drove up Provo Canyon to take my nieces engagement pictures. They loved to car as well and we were able to get some fun pictures with it. We also took it to get pumpkins, to dinner with my parents, and several other fun places where we could show it off. The Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate is a car that we could “live in”. It is designed with comfort in mind, and has all the features of a luxury car without the price tag.
