I love driving new cars. Seeing the different features and learning all about them. I hadn’t had the chance to test drive the Hyundai Elantra before, so I was excited to get the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited for review! The car is beautiful inside and out. They sleek style of the body combined with the innovative features and driving style make it a hot pick for it’s class size. It is “Not just new. Better”. The 2017 Elantra is unexpectedly packed with so many features you will need to write them all down to remember what they are. From safety features to comfort, and things that improve your overall driving experience – you will not want a different car after you have drove this one.

Some of the basics you will get with the Hyundai Elantra SE models are :

  • 7-inch color touchscreen display audio
  • Android Auto™ & Apple CarPlay™
  • Rearview camera with dynamic guidelines
  • Automatic headlight control
  • 16-inch alloy wheels with P205/55R16 tires
  • Steering-wheel-mounted audio/cruise controls
  • Cruise control
  • Bluetooth® hands-free phone system
  • Heated exterior mirrors
  • Hood insulator
  • Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-traffic Alert
  • 3.5-inch TFT monochromatic cluster display
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
  • Dual automatic temperature control with Auto Defogging System
  • Proximity Key with push button start
  • Hands-free smart trunk
  • Door handle approach lights
  • Heated front seats

And you can top it all off with the Hyundai Elantra LIMITED packages which include:

  • Navigation system with 8-inch touchscreen
  • Infinity® Premium Audio with 8 speakers including center channel and subwoofer
  • Clari-fi™ Music Restoration Technology
  • 4.2-inch color instrument cluster display
  • Power tilt-and-slide sunroof
  • Heated rear seats
  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink®and compass
  • Requires Tech Package for Limited
  • HID headlights with Dynamic Bending Light
  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection
  • Smart Cruise Control (SCC)
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
  • Integrated Memory System (IMS) for driver’s seat and exterior mirrors
  • Automatic High Beam Assist

After driving it for a week, we fell in love with the Automatic High Beam Assist – where it automatically dims the headlights and then puts them back on bright if there is a car coming and and after it passes. I always love the SCC (Smart Cruise Control) and the IMS for the seats.

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited is packed with a 147 horsepower engine that gets up and goes. With three different driving modes (Sport, ECO and normal) you will find that you can fit any scenario into this car. Long road tips, city driving, or even commuting. The leather seats with the heaters and the spacious leg room in the back make you want to get comfortable and enjoy the ride.
