If there is one thing that my family loves, it is the Fourth of July. It is so much fun to get together with family and friends and spend the day at the parades, parks, and fireworks. But it is also fun to be at home and have a delicious BBQ. This is one of our favorite traditions. Planning a Fourth of July BBQ can seem overwhelming, but doing it ahead of time and using online shopping/grocery delivery can help.
Because we were able to get our grocery shopping done and delivered, it left us with a lot more time to do things like clean up the house, meal prep and make decorations. We also prepared a fun DIY dessert for everyone to make when the meal was over – DIY Flag Sugar Cookies. These were a hit. I want to share our 4th of July BBQ with our bacon wrapped burgers with you as well as the Flag Sugar Cookies so you can have a great holiday party of your own.
The Bacon Wrapped Burgers were easy to make and tasted AMAZING! Take a strip of bacon, cut it lengthwise, and wrap it around the burger (see pictures). Once you have these ready, you will grill them until the burger is done and the bacon is crispy. Add cheese on top when they are done, and let it melt. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc for the best bacon-cheeseburger you have ever had!
The Flag Sugar Cookies were fun to make and tasted so good! All you need are sugar cookies, cream cheese frosting, strawberries (sliced into 8-10 pieces each), and blueberries. Frost the cookie with the frosting, add the strawberries for the red stripes (the frosting is the white stripes), and the blueberries are part of the stars. The kids loved making (and eating) these.

Looks yummy! I know I would love those sugar cookies and my husband will eat any kind of hamburger. Making grocery shopping stress free would be a dream come true.
First of all, I am so jealous that you can order your groceries online! Those burgers look so delicious. I will have to make my husband grill those for dinner soon.
Holy Moly! You really do a BBQ up right! I love all your ideas and the fruit on cookies is so fun and tasty!
Oh my goodness this sounds like it would taste absolutely amazing, I have to admit I do love a good burger and bacon wrapped oh yes please!
Now this looks a great way to celebrate Independence Day. Good food and with the family, shame I live a cross the pond, because that food looooooooked so so so tasty.

Wow! Getting everything online with Clicklist really seems like the way to go! That kielbasa looks amazing on the grill! Your flag cookies are cute too!
I cant wait until my Smiths offers home delivery. It would be great for busy days.
Looks yummy! I totally would have added an egg and hash browns to that hamburger! We have Clicklist and Walmart Grocery out here. I actually prefer Walmart grocery because it is cheaper than Clicklist. I’ve had them deliver to me twice in the last two months. These stores are enabling me to be lazy. Or are perfect since we’ve been moving since then. 🙂
Those flag sugar cookies are totally cute for Memorial Day through Labor Day. And I am willing to try anything with bacon!
I remember watching the Cosby show as a kid and always wondered what a Bacon Burger dog would look like. That’s what comes to mind when I see this. So yummy! We will have to try that out.
