Winter Scavenger Hunt (Free Printable)

Winter is a tough time because it’s cold outside and kids get restless. But I have a fun solution for you to share. This Winter Scavenger Hunt is SO! MUCH! FUN! and kids of all ages will have fun doing this together. I know there are a few things you might not see without driving (and maybe not even then, lol). So feel free to look some of them up online or watch a movie where they might spot some of them.

You can also choose to make this a sight, see, smell experience. Determine which ones you can feel, which ones you can smell, and which ones you can see, and then have them put different colors of circles for each group around them to group them together. It is also fun to make or do some of the activities like making a snowman, sledding, making a snow angel, going ice skating, etc. You can even make a campfire and make s’mores!

Something else you could try is making the hot chocolate from scratch! Or doing a hot chocolate bar to end the activity. Put out different things like peppermint sticks, marshmallows, chocolate chips, whip cream, caramel, etc, and let them make their own cup of hot cocoa. This is also a great time to watch that movie if you need to check a few more items off the list.
