The Utah Festival of Trees 2012 is starting up! If you haven’t been there, it is something that you need to take your kids too! It is amazing, and benefits Primary Children’s Medical Center!
Utah Festival of Trees 2012 runs from November 28, 2012 to December 1, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day at the South Town Expo Center in Sandy at 9575 South State Street.
Tickets are available at the door:
- $5 for Adults
- $3 for Children ages 2 – 11
- $4 for senior citizens
- Children under 2 years old are free
Wednesday is Family Day where a $15 ticket will admit up to 6 immediate family members.
Festival of Trees Discount tickets are still available at most Zions Bank locations. Discount tickets are $4 for Adults, and $2.50 for Children ages 2 – 11.
Parking is FREE! And there’s lots of it.
There are over 700 decorated Christmas Trees of every size, shape, variety and theme! Every penny raised helps children at Primary Children’s Medical Center.
For 42 years, the Festival of Trees has been a “Gift of Love” to children at Primary Children’s Medical Center. The Festival is organized by a volunteer board of 85 women who enlist time and talents from thousands of individuals, organizations, businesses, and families throughout Utah. Over $30.8 million has been raised for children at Primary Children’s Medical Center through the Festival since 1971, with $1,655,931.40 raised in 2011.
While you are there, there are several festivities to enjoy besides the Christmas Trees! You can view all of the wreaths, visit Gingerbread Village, view the Quilts, get yummy treats and drinks, go to Santa Land and get a photo with Santa, visit the Kids Korner and do face painting, bubble machine and other fun activities Watch the live entertainment, and shop at the small boutiques.
It really is a great time to go and enjoy some time together as a family!
