With the release of Disney-Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur coming up, my kids have been
nagging asking me to do a dinosaur craft. We decided to do a fun Handprint Stegosaurus Craft that only took about 15 minutes and satisfied them – until they saw all of the other cool Dinosaur Crafts that I found below…so we will be trying more soon 😉
To make these fun Handprint Stegos, you will want to print out the picture below (or draw your own- hold a paper up to the screen and trace)
While they are coloring this, you will want to grab some green (or whatever color works best) cardstock, a piece of white printer paper, and scissors. I traced my kids’ hands on the white paper, and had them color their hands as well as the dinosaur, then we cut the hands and the Dino out. Once everything was colored we glued it together like you see in the picture below. It was a lot of fun, and the kids really enjoyed it. Another great reason I love these kinds of crafts is because it keeps their handprints so I can remember how small they were.
These were a lot of fun and great for any age when you need 20 minutes of free time 😉
Here are 9 more Creative and Educational Dinosaur Crafts:
Print out these cute Dinosaur pictures, let your kids color them, and then make finger puppets or use popsicle sticks to make puppets with.
I would love to know which one if your favorite and what other fun Dinosaur crafts you like! Please share in the comments below.
